Dear Sisters and Brothers
As a result of the forming of Empire Merchants,
many of you may be confused as to who your Local 2D representatives are in your division.
In order to keep you updated on the reverse side of this letter you will see all of Empire Merchants Sales Divisions
and who their shop steward and or Executive Board member is. These members are
direct representatives of the officers of Local 2D, and are there to help represent you, and enforce our contract with your
Employer.
In addition, you will see that the following sales divisions do not have a shop steward: Atlantic On Premise
Empire Vintage
Empire On Premise
If anyone is
interested in serving in the role of Local 2D shop steward, and employed in any of the above divisions, please contact me.
It is important we maintain our unified and strong front in representing
the sisters and brothers of UFCW Local 2D.
